JDNB Family Series #002 - Bren

The "JDNB Family" mix series is focussed on the artists we have working with us at JDNB and the second entry is a jungle and drum & bass mix brought to you by Bren. Bren has been a part of the JDNB journey and family from very early on, from Editor, to Chief Editor, and now the JDNB Website Manager. Hailing from County Durham in the North East of England, Bren's music legacy picked up traction in 1984 when he first began mixing hip-hop and electro, then progressing onto the underground realms of breakcore. After showing the many strings he has to his bow, then witnessing the birth of jungle and drum & bass, this is now all Bren mixes (apart from an occasional flirt with breakbeat). Now residing in East London, Bren still thrives on the old-school jungle style and, even though they are recently released, you will find that the tracks in this mix all hold the same old-school fundamentals.
