This is important, because how we react can have massive effect on the other person, more so than you may even realize, and it doesn't feel good for YOU to be miserable about someone else's good news either.  That shit sticks and people will always remember how you made them feel. Sometimes we can react out of jealousy, because someone else is getting something that we hope to have or achieve ourselves.
