Since 1996, Jean Sachs has been the CEO of Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Her fierce commitment, compassionate heart, and strong desire to connect people have made LBBC a nationally recognized nonprofit in providing trusted information and a community of support for those affected by breast cancer.Jean has successfully grown LBBC’s budget from $100,000 to $6 million and for seventeen years, LBBC has earned a four-star rating by Charity Navigator and in 2018 earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar. These honors reflect Jean’s leadership–her ability to identify what communities need to be served, willingness to collaborate, and faithfulness to the organization’s mission.
