Jeannine Kunz serves as Chief Workforce Development Officer at SME (the Society of Manufacturing Engineers), where she provides end-to-end workforce and training solutions for communities, companies and educational institutions by leading new partnerships, programs and service offerings. Prior to this newly created role, Jeannine served as vice president of Tooling U-SME. She is a recognized leader on manufacturing workforce education and training with regular contributions to IndustryWeek, Training Magazine, NPR Marketplace and the Chicago Tribune. She serves on several industry advisory boards as well as the executive committee of America Makes and the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (or ARM) Education & Workforce Advisory Committee. She is also a founding member of the Skilled Trades Coalition. Jeannine earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing with a concentration in economics from Eastern Michigan University.
