Jeff Talks to Fadi Dekaidek - An Arab Palestinian Muslim from East Jerusalem Saving Lives in Israel

In this heart-warming episode, Jeff talks to Fadi Dekaidek, an Arab Muslim from Beit Hanina in East Jerusalem and learns his incredible story about becoming part of Israel's emergency medical system, Magen David Adom (MDA). When Jewish medics from MDA were saving the life of Fadi's father, Sameer, Sameer's words to his son changed the trajectory of his life: ‘I want from you one thing: to be like these people, to learn to save lives, to live like the Israeli community. You know the Jewish people; they are good people. If I’m still alive, I want to see you like them: a good man.”  Fadi went on to become the first Arab from East Jerusalem to join MDA and has saved countless lives ever since.
