  Jeffrey Anthony has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Arizona. Jeffrey is the Grants Coordinator with the College of Education at the University of Arizona. Jeffrey created an innovative new tool to match researchers to funding opportunities based on what Jeffrey developed from his insights working on the Music Genome Project for 17 years at Pandora Radio. Prior to this, Jeffrey spent nine months with the City of Tucson Office of Economic Initiatives focusing on expanding employee small business ownership, as well as taking on the position of Economic Competitiveness Officer for the Southern Arizona Coalition for Climate Adaptation and Resilience.  Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic Jeffrey spent 25 years touring the world with dozens of bands as well as playing drums on hundreds of records. Jeffrey is working on his first book focused on the importance of creativity in public administration and uncovering the modes through which creativity can regain prominence in local, regional, and federal organizations to regain the power inherent in democratic ideals and forge the tools necessary to tackle problems confronting society.
