In this episode, Jeffrey talks about how, in the early Monsanto studies, rats were fed GMO corn and they developed serious issues in their physiology during this 90 day study and Monsanto decided to hide those facts when the study was released. A former Monsanto scientist became concerned because in South Africa, GMO corn was being fed to humans who, historically, have eaten corn as a regular staple in their diet. One landowner/farmer in South Africa was feeding his workers the GMO corn and many of the workers got sick with severe headaches, flu-like symptoms and inflammation; eventually, some of the workers died from eating the GMO corn.
