Jen is Zen - Running on Vibes

from Reframing Me - Self-Development & Parenting Teens for Midlife Moms

Send us Fan MailThank you for being here today! Can you believe we're already in December? As we head towards our third new year's together, I've come to the realization in my life that I'm running on vibes alone. But we all know it's easier to stay the same than to embrace change. And it's uncomfortable for us to think about trying new things or heading down new paths because our lives feel full of change, and this would require even more instability, more change, more discomfort and we have enough of that in our lives. But sometimes we reach a point that realize that avoiding that change is actually worse than taking it on – maybe we are moving so much that we don't even realize that we actually have become stagnant. Weird, right? But we’re going going going – that’s like the opposite of stagnant, isn’t it? Well… just because we’re quote busy doesn’t mean we’re growing. And if we’re not growing, guess what, we’re stagnant. And so we reach a point where the discomfort of staying the same becomes greater than the discomfort of change. Where in your life have you been running on vibes? Where have you been avoiding growth because the thought of change feels too overwhelming?Thank you for listening and being part of this community! Let's get social.
