Jenn Wasner (Flock of Dimes, Wye Oak, Bon Iver)

Welcome to Roadcase!!  We are super-psyched to have Jenn Wasner on the show! Jenn is the uber-talented and incredibly charming artist responsible for Flock of Dimes and Wye Oak, and also performs on the road with Bon Iver. An incredibly thoughtful musician, Jenn talks to Josh about the creative forces behind her multi-faceted musical life from both a practical and creative perspective. Despite the plethora of external forces straining today's music industry, Jenn is grounded in her creativity and maintains a healthy perspective as to the most effective way to move forward for her own sanity; that is, she remains a conduit for the artistic forces that drive her in exploring new and amazing directions. Jenn is philosophical and exploratory while at the same time, keeping true to herself... it's all one can really do! It is an exquisite example of an artist finding their way in a very difficult world, and in Jenn's case, the outcome is quite stunning.
