Jennie's Law : Jennifer Poole's family's fight for change

A campaign born from unimaginable grief has changed the law in Ireland. Jennie's Law, named after Jennifer Poole, creates a public register of people convicted of domestic violence against a current or former partner, giving victims access to information that could help them make safer choices. Jennifer Poole was murdered in 2021 by her former partner, Gavin Murphy.
