Jennifer Rooks, Maine Public: How does real news survive fragmentation and confirmation bias?

Jennifer rooks has worked in news in many forms, from a 13 year run at WCSH-TV, to a reporter in California, and now to her role as host of "Maine Calling", a call in show, on Maine Public since 2013. I talk to her about the challenges of the modern news and media environment, how the shows call in volume tells the staff what’s working and what isn’t, and the power and danger of people wanting to hear that their previous opinions are right.
