Jennifer Sutherland (Austin Sketch Fest) | Our Fear of Dolls

Jennifer Sutherland is a Denver-area comic who does both sketch and stand-up comedy. She tells Dan Bublitz Jr that when things go wrong on stage you have to take ownership - in other words, in order for a comic to improve, he or she can’t simply blame the audience.Jennifer reminds us that it’s tough to talk about personal stuff with some audiences - she and Dan explore how to deal with dark material without making the crowd so sympathetic that they feel sorry for you.
