When you meet a person for the first time without knowing the person’s history, you actually have an incomplete picture of that person. When we read about God’s people in the Bible, we are meeting them as if for the first time. And from that first meeting, we make a judgment, either for good or bad. If it’s bad, then it becomes perplexing how and why God would use such a person.
