Jeremiah

They prayed in caves and palaces, in prisons and whale bellies, on rooftops and mountaintops, in gardens and fiery furnaces. Some prayed with perfect faith; others prayed while running away. They prayed when the answer was “yes,” when it was “no,” and when it was “not yet.” Yet every one of them met the living God in the place of prayer, and their stories still echo. From Abraham’s bold bargaining to Hannah’s silent tears, from David’s psalms of lament to Mary’s world-changing “yes,” from Jesus in Gethsemane to Paul in chains, we’ll discover how real people brought real lives before a real God, and how their prayers can shape ours today.Join us as we run the race set before us, surrounded by this great cloud, learning to pray the way the saints prayed, until faith becomes sight and every prayer finds its Amen in Jesus.Bring your Bible. Bring your burdens. Come ready to pray.
