Jeremiah 29

Pastor Rick Beaudry walks us through Jeremiah 29, explaining the Babylonian captivity context and Jeremiah’s letter telling the exiles to build lives there, beware false prophets, and seek the peace of the city. He focuses on Jeremiah 29:11 and Daniel’s intercession to show how God’s comforting thoughts and purposes bring hope during trials and discipline. The study connects the passage to contemporary warnings about moral decay, sex trafficking, deception from false teachers, threats from emerging technologies and globalist schemes, and the need for spiritual discernment. The message urges prayerful faithfulness, steady grounding in Scripture, and confident hope in Christ’s return and God’s unfolding plans for us.
