Jeremiah Chapters 1-3

In this episode, we begin the book of Jeremiah by reading chapters 1–3, where God calls Jeremiah to be His prophet and entrusts him with a difficult but vital mission. We witness Jeremiah’s hesitation, God’s reassurance, and the powerful declaration that God’s word will stand against nations, kings, and peoples. These chapters also reveal God’s deep sorrow over Israel’s unfaithfulness. Through vivid imagery, God describes His people’s spiritual adultery and calls them to return to Him with sincere repentance. Yet even in the midst of judgment, His compassion and mercy shine through as He invites His people back into relationship with Him.
