Jeremy Johnson - Fear Not: It's Not If We Are Going, It's Who We Are Bringing
from FEARLESS
On this week's podcast, pastor Jeremy Johnson teaches us the importance of unity inside and outside of the church. During our very first Conference Sunday, we are reminded of the supernatural shifts that happen when we focus on going after the broken. Our own emptiness seems to fade away when we see the emptiness of others. When it comes to our salvation, pastor Jeremy challenges us to think of those in our lives that need to know Jesus. Like the story of Elisha and the Jar of Oil, there might be something in close quarters that just needs a little faith to transform. (2 Kings 4 :1-7) Rather than an empty jar, it could be a friend, family member or coworker that needs a touch from God. When we seek God as an empty vessel, His power and mercy for us overflows. As long as we bring Him our emptiness, Gods power will keep flowing and we will be transformed. With conference around the corner, it is times like these where we are asked not to stay silent but to step out in faith and invite those around us into the life we have already been given. It's not if we're going, but it's who we are bringing that changes things.
