from Mountain Murders · host Dead Air

In May 2006, 20-year-old Clemson University student Tiffany Marie Souers was found murdered inside her off-campus apartment in Central, South Carolina. The promising civil engineering student had been sexually assaulted and strangled. DNA evidence led authorities to Jerry Buck Inman, a 35-year-old convicted sex offender with a lengthy history of violent sexual crimes. Inman was captured in Tennessee after a nationwide manhunt, and investigators soon connected him to attacks on other women in the days surrounding Tiffany’s murder.
