Jerry Dyckman- Pharmacy Student Education Perspective Part 2

Jerry Dyckman, 3rd year Pharmacy student at Campbell University, comes on the show for Part 2  to talk about the cost of becoming a pharmacist, the average salary of pharmacists, current status of Opioids in America, how to handle delicate situations with other healthcare providers, his opinion on promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors over medications in healthcare, and much more!   Biography: Jerry is originally from Islip, New York and moved to Raleigh, NC for college. He is a bit of a non-traditional student and he earned his B.S. in Business Administration from NC State, worked in finance, insurance and real estate for about 8 years, then decided to go back to school to become a pharmacist. Jerry is currently a 3rd year pharmacy student, completing a dual degree in PharmD and M.S. in Public health.
