Jerry Hampton Charged With Multiple Car Burglaries | St. Louis News

Jerry Hampton, 47, is locked up facing serious charges after allegedly hitting multiple cars in Forest Park between March and May, smashing back windows, stealing purses, wallets, cards—even passports—and fleeing. He’s now charged with six burglaries and ten counts of using stolen cards, with surveillance catching him making purchases across town. The judge deemed him a flight risk and a danger, so he’s held without bond until his August 31 trial, with a preliminary hearing set for September 25. Authorities are also investigating whether his crimes stretch beyond Forest Park. This isn’t just a quick arrest—it’s a major case unfolding in court.
