Jerry HERMAN

Hoy traemos a un compositor al que hace tiempo que queríamos dedicarle un programa y es que Jerry Herman es un compositor de los grandes dentro del musical americano. Su madre era cantante y pianista que trabajaba en hoteles y campamentos de verano.  Jerry estuvo en dichos campamentos hasta cumplir los 23 años y organizaba actividades teatrales, montando producciones de Oklahoma! o El valle del Arco Iris (Finian’s rainbow). Desde Parade estrenada el año 1960,  From A to Z y Milk and Honey vendrían sus musicales clásicos Hello Dolly (1964), Mame (1966), Dear world(1969), Mack & Mabel(1974), The grand tour(1979) y La jaula de las locas(1983).
