JERRY LEWIS helps polio victim RONNIE DEAUVILLE "KING OF FOOLS"

Heres's the special promotional announcement Jerry Lewis sent to radio stations, promoting Ronnie Deauville. The handsome, talented singer's career seemed doomed when he was struck down by polio. His return to singing was a miracle. Signed to Era Records, he offered up a new single which Jerry promoted on radio and TV. Jerry sent radio stations a single: his message on one side, and Ronnie's new song on the other. Due to clearance issues, that song isn't available for YouTube use, so another great one, "King of Fools" is substituted. Ronnie made several TV appearances, mostly with the camera focused on him from the waist up. It was usually only in human interest TV news reports that he was seen in his wheelchair.
