She maintained her weight in college, but upon entering nursing school, gained it all back. Jessica eventually reached her highest weight of 290 pounds and felt miserable. Discouraged and defeated, Jessica gave up.  In 2019, friends shared intermittent fasting with her, and Jessica thought IF sounded impossible. But, she joined the Delay, Don't Deny Facebook group, listened to the Intermittent Fasting Stories podcast, and combed through countless transformation pictures and stories of IF success.  By May of 2020, Jessica was ready to begin her own IF journey. She has lost a total of 96 pounds, and varies her daily fasts.  Jessica has so much energy! She sleeps great, and now feels in control. "I have found myself again," she remarks. Since IF, Jessica's health has greatly improved. Her blood pressure is lower, her acne has cleared up, her aches and pains are gone, and her thyroid meds have been reduced.  Jessica's advice to the new IFer: Be consistent. Give it time. Little changes will yield incredible results. Give yourself grace.  Get Gin’s books at http://www.ginstephens.com/get-the-books.html, including her New York Times Bestseller, Fast. Feast.
