Erik has an ahole detector that allows him to find people who have done, are doing or are planning to do bad bad things. His superpower comes with a glitch though. It gives Erik painful migraines that can only be managed by booze, gambling and sex. Unfortunately the gambling has gotten the better of him so uses his powers to blackmail these people and pay off his own debts to Sal Blakowski, a ruthless lender with a love of escapology and a keen sense of timing. Jessica realises that her assailant was angered by Erik’s blackmail attempt and traces her way to Gregory Sallinger a highly intelligent serial killer. He knows everything about her, he’s so far ahead of Jessica she looks like an ant to him. But Jessica Jones has another secret weapon.
