Jesus, A Threat to Our Custom Religion // John 4:1-3

As the Pharisees hear that Jesus is making and baptizing more disciples than John, Jesus leaves for Galilee. The Pharisees had created a complex man-made system of religion that looked orthodox to many people, yet it was a system of religion which hated Jesus. Jesus’ increased popularity and teaching threatened this system of religion. Do we have any such system’s of religion today? This message answers this question in the affirmative revealing three popular systems of religion which many believe to be the real deal, but at the heart is in rebellion with Jesus.
