Jesus Calms the Storm

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, comments on the amount of evil that seems to be swirling across our land and the world, even during the days of Christmas celebrations. He reflects on the story of Jesus calming the storm on the Sea of Galilee. He points out that this story is an unbelievable miracle and at the same time to be expected by the one who took part in the creation of the universe. It is pointed out that Christians often mistakenly use this story to teach about how Jesus calms the storms of life, but that the story is actually about trusting Jesus and the power that he has to lead us through difficulties. Dr. Hall points out that we should see the storms of our life as our friends because it is during these times that we turn to God. Dr. Hall closes the podcast reminding listeners that when Jesus was born in the manger God gave us a Savior whose powers beyond our comprehension.
