WHAT IS MEDIATOR?] meaning: me·di·a·tor /ˈmēdēˌādər/ noun a PERSON who attempts to make people involved in a conflict come to an agreement; a go-between: [2. WHO IS OUR MEDIATOR?] “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” (1 Timothy 2:5 kjv) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 kjv) [3. WHO ELSE CAN BE OUR MEDIATOR?] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 kjv) [4. WHY DO WE NEED THE MEDIATOR?] 9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: 14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: 15 Their feet are swift to shed blood: 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways: 17 And the way of peace have they not known: 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes. 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:9-18,23 kjv) [5. WHAT HAPPEN IF WE RECOGNIZED OR DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE MEDIATOR?] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15 kjv) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 kjv) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 kjv) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
