After His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, Jesus doesn’t act “meek and mild.” He cleanses the temple with holy zeal, confronting corruption and calling God’s people back to what the temple was meant to be—a place of grace, mercy, and forgiveness. In this sermon, we reflect on Christ’s bold purpose: He came to be crucified for us. And as the One who cleansed the temple, He now lovingly cleanses us—His people—so that we may carry His grace into the world.
