Jesus: Coming Down the Mountain | Week 1

from Valley Community Church Hosted by Valley Community Church

Reading: Matthew 8:1–4 What does Jesus' encounter with the leper reveal about the heart of God? In this message we explore one of the most confronting moments in Matthew's Gospel, where Jesus reaches out and touches the person everyone else avoided. Along the way we consider the remarkable faith of the leper, why Matthew chose to include this story, and who we are in this story. As we approach Jesus in faith, we discover that He still does what only He can do: "I will; be clean."
