That means salvation is not self-improvement. It is new creation. The life the believer now has is not an upgraded version of the former life. It is the very life of CHRiSt Himself.   PAV shows from Scripture that the Gospel does not repair humanity. It creates what never existed before. The believer is not merely behaving better or trying harder. The believer has died, has been raised with CHRiSt, and now lives from a new identity, a new reality, and a new life altogether.   This episode also presses the glorious corporate dimension of this reality: in CHRiSt, God is not merely saving isolated individuals.
