Jesus Emphasized Practical Morality: "If You Love Me, Keep the Commandments"

Christians, for the most part, have the idea that if they "believe in Jesus," and if they love Him, they're golden, so to speak, on the basis of this profession or sentiment towards Him alone. But is this really the case?
