Jesus Gets Arrested
from Trinity Church Messages Hosted by Trinity Church
Do you really want to follow Jesus? Are you sure? The account of Jesus’ arrest in John’s gospel is a stunning one in that it highlights the many reasons why people reject Jesus. He is betrayed and abandoned by his disciples because he does not offer them an easy road to power and glory, but rather leads them down the path of self-denial and suffering. Text: John 18:1-40
