Jesus Has Risen

Matthew 28:1-9 Resurrection Sunday is a party for the redeemed because Christ the Lord is risen today “as he said.” Like a bullhorn dialed to 11, the resurrection was Heaven’s victory proclamation that truly, “It is finished!” (John 19:30). On Friday death was dealt, but on Sunday the tomb was robbed. And when Someone robs death, you do not stifle a yawn. What you do is throw a Resurrection celebration. Focusing on Matthew 28 we discovered—Jesus who has risen from the dead is worthy of my worship.
