Jesus Healed My Eating Disorder

In this candid, vulnerable conversation, Angela shares for the first time the entire testimony of her eating disorder and how Jesus completely delivered her from that bondage.     Angela struggled with food obsession and closet-eating a majority of her life, which led to her gaining nearly 300 lbs. After her grandma died in 2014, she joined a cult-like MLM that guided her to lose nearly half of that weight.     Over the years, Angela's mission to be healthy unfortunately became an extremely unhealthy obsession, leading to body dysmorphia which led her to eventually become underweight, accompanied by a handful of physical ailments in her early-mid twenties. Throughout the entire process of her weight-loss journey, Angela developed binge-eating disorder, falling into a cycle of consuming nearly 3000 calories in one sitting, followed by self-hate and self-harm and intense restriction before the pattern would repeat itself. Angela tried everything. Therapy, macros, food scales, fitness coaches and more. But from 2015 - 2021, the eating disorder only continued to morph and evolve: from intense vanity, to intense self-loathing.     When Angela got saved by Jesus in 2021, everything changed.     Through new identity, sanctification and deliverance, she was finally set free of the bondage she had been captive to most of her life... Shortly after, she became pregnant with her first child.
