Jesus in your Weekend: Lord Start with Me

Send us Fan MailReal change doesn’t start “out there”—it starts in here. In this short “Jesus in Your Weekend,” Steve reads a timeless reflection (often attributed to an anonymous bishop at Westminster Abbey, c. A.D. 1100) and thanks listener Charlotte for reminding us where transformation truly begins: “Lord… start with me.”As we invite Jesus to change our hearts, that grace ripples outward—to our families, our community, and our world. Take a minute to pause, pray, and ask: What is one way Jesus is changing me right now that could inspire someone else?Public domain: Anonymous reflection often attributed to a Westminster Abbey inscription (c. 1100).This episode of The Jesus Effect was written and hosted by me, Steve McLane. If this message touched your heart, please consider sharing it.You can listen to more at thejesuseffectpodcast.com or follow us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Facebook, and others.Until next time — stay rooted in faith and be the light. And remember, when you encounter Him - you experience change.© 2025 The Jesus Effect Podcast.
