Jesus is always the same

Do you remember the lyrics of the song ‘On Christ The Solid Rock I Stand’? The chorus goes like this: “On Christ the solid rock I stand All other ground is sinking sand”   It’s based on the Truth in Matthew 7:24-27 where Jesus says that if we will listen to His teaching and obey it, then we will be like people who build their house on solid rock (instead of sinking sand).   Now that just sounds like good sense to me!   But let’s face it - there are places that feel wobbly in all of our lives. Places where we still have fear, anxiety and worry. Places where we’re struggling to find hope. Places where breakthrough seems like a far off dream.
