Jesus Is BuriedBible Readings: John 19:38-42Summary: Paul explained that we were buried with Jesusthrough baptism into death. First, Paul said: We are buriedwith him, and then he continues through baptism into death.There is an important thing to see here. When you arebaptized in a person, in this instance Jesus, you are under Hisauthority. The same happened to us. At first, we were slavesof sin, fear, anxiety, and death, but we are now buried withJesus, we are alive, and under His authority. This is what itmeans to be buried with Him through baptism.
