DNA: The Building Blocks of Who We Are - Quick Summary In 1963, President John F. Kennedy articulated a bold vision for space exploration, aiming to land a man on the moon within a decade. His vision wasn't just about reaching the moon; it was about the preservation of human life, emphasizing the importance of safely returning our astronauts home. This compelling vision mirrors the significance of our new sermon series, "DNA: The Building Blocks of Who We Are." Just as Kennedy's mission had a guiding value, our mission as a church is guided by core values that define our culture, demonstrate what we stand for, and guide how we accomplish our mission of loving and leading people to become faithful followers of Jesus. Pastor Dakota will talk about how we can live them out collectively as a church and individually in our daily lives. By remembering and applying these values, we can effectively share and embody them within our ministry.
