Jesus Is Risen... So What?! (John 20:19-31)
from Convergent Church Sermons Hosted by Convergent Church
Jesus is risen… SO WHAT?!We believe that Jesus died on the cross. We believe that three days later, He rose from the grave. We celebrate the empty tomb and proclaim that our Savior is alive! But what difference should the resurrection actually make in our lives today? For some, the question is one of skepticism: Why does any of this matter? What relevance does something that happened 2,000 years ago have to my life today? For others, it's a question of conviction: If Jesus really is alive, what am I supposed to do about it? How should that change the way I live? These are questions worth asking. Because the resurrection isn't merely a historical event to believe happened. It's a reality that demands a response! In John 20:19–31, we find fearful disciples hiding behind locked doors, a skeptical Thomas struggling to believe, and a risen Savior whose appearance changes everything.Whether you're skeptical of Christianity, wrestling with doubt, or have been following Jesus for years, this message will challenge you to consider what the empty tomb means for you!
