Jesus is the Ultimate Authority - Mark 11:27-12:17 - January 22, 2023

In a confrontation with the religious leaders of Jerusalem, Jesus exposes their false, idolatrous authority, and reveals that no manmade organization or entity—whether governmental, religious, or otherwise—has ultimate authority over the church or the individual. Yet, neither does he endorse the authority of the "sovereign self." Christ is claiming ultimate authority for himself.
