Jesus Jargon: Ecumenical

from Topical Series

Join Pastors Clint and Michael as they explore what Christians mean by the word "ecumenical." While maybe not a word commonly spoken within the normal life of a congregation, modern church denominations have invested a great deal of time and effort in fostering partnerships between Christians all throughout the world. The ecumenical movement has resulted in local congregations recognizing that despite all of our differences, there is real value in serving our communities with other churches, denominations, and faith traditions, seeking to partner wherever we are able. The ecumenical conversation moves the local church to realize that the whole church extends far beyond the walls of one building, throughout the entire world and calls each individual Christian to find partnerships and mutual cooperation wherever we can.
