Jesus Makes Fishers of Men

In Mark 1:16-20, behold the sovereign call of Christ, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” It is a call not to a mere alteration of occupation, but to a complete forsaking of all that is earthly, that you might be consumed by the eternal purposes of God.
