Jesus, my Savior, I, His Priest - Hebrews 7:26-28

26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself. 28 For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.  Hebrews 7:26–28.   Proposition: The Priests under the law could not save others or themselves, but Jesus as priest of the covenant oath saved believers so they could be priests of an actual holy, royal priesthood by faith.     Condemned I Stood According to the LAW     2. Made Perfect I am saved on Account of FAITH in Christ     3. Called to Put on Christ as His PRIESTS by faith     Connected Application Scripture: 4 As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ…9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1 Peter 2:4-5, 9-10).
