Does God just want you to be happy? It sounds right. It sounds encouraging. No.🙏 Does God care about our joy? Absolutely.🤔 But is our immediate happiness God's highest priority? Because what happens when something makes us happy…but takes us further away from God? He said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” — Luke 9:23 Sometimes following Jesus brings incredible joy. Sometimes it requires sacrifice. Sometimes God says yes. Sometimes He says wait.
