Thursday Night Bible Study at Beulah Worship Center, November 11th 2021-1 John 4:7-8 God's essence is to love. Human nature has tainted love, but as born again believers, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we learn to love as God loves (7-8). God demonstrated His love for us by sending his Son to die for people who had rebelled against him. They are deserving of death, but Jesus died in their place to pay the penalty of sin. As a result, they are now able to have life and have it more abundantly. People may not be able to see God, but they can see that he lives among Christians who love one another.
