JESUS PAID IT ALL

from NcourageMe: Daily Encouragement · host NcourageME

Friday June 21/24 Jesus paid it all As a young girl in the faith attending church with my grandmother the song "Jesus paid it all" was commonly sung during our Sunday morning service. Let me remind you of the words: 1 I hear the Savior say, "Thy strength indeed is small, Child of weakness, watch and pray, Find in Me thine all in all." Refrain: Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. 2 Lord, now indeed I find Thy pow'r and Thine alone, Can change the leper's spots And melt the heart of stone. [Refrain] 3 For nothing good have I Where-by Thy grace to claim; I'll wash my garments white In the blood of Calv'ry's Lamb. [Refrain] 4 And when, before the throne, I stand in Him complete, "Jesus died my soul to save," My lips shall still repeat. [Refrain] You see as children of God we tends to at times allow our weaknesses get the better of us. We also tends to allow ourselves to feel condemn. But my families and friends, let me remind you this morning that Jesus paid it all. Through our weaknesses He has made us strong. We are not too far gone for God to bless us. You see I came home yesterday and after settling in, I decided to take a nap. Before the nap, something came to my thoughts and I dialogued with God about it then dosed off. After about midway in the nap I woke up and heard "Paid In Full". I quickly grab my journal and declared that God has paid it in full after which I signed the page then went back to sleep. For quite sometime in prior years, I used to be one who would condemn myself and not see the young woman that is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. I would allow myself to think that I am unworthy but no matter how many times I fall down, I never left the presence of God. I never left the presence of God because if I did where would be today. You see people of God, we have to learn how to trust in God. Alot of times why we feel inadequate or think the sins we committed cannot be forgiven is because of our belief that we cannot be used by God. Shake that feeling off and walk boldly in your calling. We all have a gift given to us by God to use for His kingdom. God is patient and kind to us. So no matter how far we stray He is always waiting for us to come home. Remember the story of the prodigal son? Yeah, God never stop caring for us when we left His presence. He is always waiting with a wide stretch arm for us to come home. Come home lost sheep, your Sheppard is waiting, come home. God loves us so much and that is why He paid it all for us at calvary. Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. It's okay to feel the way you are feeling at moment just know that God got you covered like I said yesterday. Remember, being in Christ allows us to have a new identity. Jesus Paid it all my families and friends. Listen to these words by Joyce Myers: *read the devotional* Leave them with this verse: Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ [ that is in Him I have shared His crucifixion; it is no longer I who live , but Christ lives in me.
