Jesus, Pie & Coffee with Jenny Williams

from Jesus, Pie & Coffee · host Clarissa Burgess

well, it's been a minute. we were doing so good with launching the podcast on time, and then Covid. the interviews had halted, everything was canceled, and we shifted to creating meals and serving our community. it serves us well too. this is an interview that was recorded pre-covid, but I know that it will be perfect for today. I sit with my friend, Jenny Williams. I first saw Jenny and thought, "um, I wanna be friends with her and get to know her. she looks like my kinda people." she has this glow that shines Jesus, and draws you in. she and her hubs, started a non-profit, our daughter's house. a place for girls aging out of the foster care system. a place for them to feel loved, know what that looks like. what that feels like. this is something that is very dear to me. I learned about this over the last few years, and just couldn't fathom kids turning 18 and then turned out on the streets with no place to go. it's everywhere, but it's in our backyard. our backyard is big, and there are many for us to love! even if there is one for us to love, that is big! anyways, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair and join our conversation.
