Jesus Prayed for You

Jesus prayed for each of us prior to his arrest, trial, and crucifixion. In his beautiful prayer recorded in John 17, Jesus makes three petitions. The first is that he be glorified by the Father. This glory will be seen in his crucifixion and resurrection. His second petition is for his disciples to be sanctified -- made holy -- by His Word through the Spirit. And, the third petition is that we, the church, be unified in our worship of him, our commitment to living righteous lives, and our mission on earth. Join us as we think about how these three petitions apply to us in the here and now.
