Jesus Story #48 A Bunch of Hypocrites

The Jewish leaders watched as Jesus disciples bought food in the marketplace and ate it without ceremonially washing their hands which was a tradition of the elders for generations.  The leaders were upset and went to Jesus, asking him "Why do your disciples not keep the traditions of the elders?  We saw them eat their food and they did not ceremonially wash their hands!"  Among the Jews, that was a real NO-NO!!  Jesus had much to tell them about their traditions and he called them hypocrites.  Listen to the story to find out what Jesus said and why he called them hypocrites.
