Do you enjoy going to the dentist? Probably not, but one thing that makes it a little more bearable is Novocain. There’re stages to getting numb. First, the drug is near you. The dentist has it in his hand and you’re comforted that you don’t have to do this without meds. Then, the drug is in you. At first, nothing happens. But soon, the power of the drug comes upon you. When the power is upon you, the work can begin. Like Novocain, the Holy Spirit has stages too. Today, Pastor Mark shows us that the Holy Spirit being with you and in you are necessary and important.
